RAINBOW NETWORKS AFRICA

RAINBOW NETWORKS AFRICA is a campaign to start and maintain conversations and action around: HIV Laws and Gender expansive issues in Africa.

People, participation, programming and policy are the four for pillars on which our activities revolve. We seek to engage people in taking charge of their settings to own change.

We profile community activities around pushback, contest degrading HIV Laws or negotiate possibilities for dialogue and reversal of conversation and policy institutionalizing stigma and discrimination on the African continent. 

We work with social, cultural, economical and traditional institutions in Africa such as: African Parliament, African Union, Eastern African Social-political entities, Western African Social-political entities, Southern African Social-political entities, Northern African Social-political entities; CBOs; Universities; and CSOs Organization Development and Mainstreaming social action addressing HIV Criminalization and Modernization laws.

From 2017-2027 we shall create contact mechanisms to promote rapport; and establish feedback channels at African Parliament, African Union, Eastern African Social-political entities, Western African Social-political entities, Southern African Social-political entities, Northern African Social-political entities;5298 CBOs; 1200 Universities; and 500 CSOs.

Community mobilization in form of community meetings at physical venues or social media platforms

Legal services in form of advocacy and litigation

Media engagement to promote responsible reporting and dialogue in the various media

Political advocacy to promote critical responsible engagement of leaders in addressing HIV-related and gender expansive issues

Public education will be used to promote critical thinking, knowledge sharing and development that is geared at causing communities to pushback against stigma and discrimination

Research and development will be an opportunity to create information, education and communication on barriers and enablers

Tracking and monitoring community activities, engagements and social change
